A Blade & Soul Player's Feeling: Zerg Content - Level 50 Seems FAR Less Fun

I was hesitant to post this as it's still quite early in the patch, but after a few days now I think I know how things feel with current content.
I don't think I've ever been more disappointed with an MMO content patch than the SFM 50 patch. And that includes FFXIV 3.1.
The direction the game's overworld content has taken seems to be towards the least fun elements of 45. It's need cost more Blade & Soul gold. Massive timewasty zergs where you're not so much working with a team of friends to defeat the bosses, you're working AGAINST your own faction to gain credit on things. It's Terrors and Blackwyrm but shoehorned in place of the daily stuff. There's very little satisfying overworld stuff to do in small groups or solo anymore.
Misty Woods was hardly the most fun content but you could do it at your own pace, solo or in small teams. You'd get some fun pvp skirmishes from time to time, or sometimes it would be quiet mob killing. You could do it any time you wanted.
Replacement? waiting around for battles to start, 500 people in one place, terrible lag and fps for about half the playerbase, fighting for credit on annoying boss monsters. No actual PvP of note.
There's also the joys of Grand Harvest which is the PVE equivalent. Timed dailies with huge zergs where you fight against your own side to gain credit on stuff.
The 24 mans havent fared much better. They seem to have lost the "magic". Yes, maybe Efleet and NSH werent the most fun content to do day-in, day-out, but they're FAR more subjectively fun than Frostscale Basin and Beastbog. Where's the personality in the bosses? Waiting around for beetle to spawn whilst killing faceless beasts isnt any different to killing pirates waiting for poh but... somehow the lack of "personality" to the place makes it feel more boring (and the elites are just annoying hp sponges). NSH and Efleet were fun environments, really nice to run around and explore at your own pace. The new ones just feel unimaginative.
Arena and 4/6 man dungeons will always be the core of fun in this game, and are the reasons I'm staying, but even the 4/6 man dungeons feel "lazy". Yeti is an interesting fight in a fun dungeon but compare them to the layout and awesomeness of the pirate places and Naryu labyrinth. Boring cave corridors rather than fun environments. Difficult to really quantify.
I know the old 45 content is still there, but something feels weird to me this patch. I was -loving- this game at 45. My days were repetitive, sure - mushin, some arena, Nsh/efleet, misty woods, then spam BSH, Naryu and Poh with friends for drops, costumes and upgrades, occasionally doing Big 4 dailies.
That has now been replaced by Soulstone plains zerg rubbish, two far more boring 24 mans, far less interesting dungeons, Grand Harvest, and a feeling that there's much less you can do solo or in small groups to meaningfully advance your character. Heck even at 45 you could run around solo in BSH killing bosses for soulshields. Now your only upgrades come from Yeti/Scorpion.
This is a whiny post with lots of subjective feeling, but I had to say it. I would much rather be repeatedly doing the 45 content daily than doing all of this new content, despite the 45 stuff being old hat, and I'm not sure why. Zerginess? Lack of interest and personality in the environments?
Maybe just killing hogs and beetles in a swamp for 30 minutes is exactly the same as killing pirates in a huge sprawling base, but I miss the "changed hours" and "is the admiral a man or a woman". I miss Tae's taunting and Poh's giggle. The 45 content had personality and the game could be done solo, in small groups or large clan areas. 50 content feels like it was rushed by a different dev team.
I just hope the upcoming content patches return the feel, because this game does NOT feel like it did a week or so ago, and I'm worried with the direction the game is taking.
