17, For we are not like so many, who peddle the word of God for profit; but we are speaking in Christ before God as persons of sincerity, as persons sent from God. 2 Corinthians 2

FOR YEARLY CHECK UP PICK UP EARLY MORNINGS.   TEACH US "TO PRAY" LORD,  JUST WHAT TO SAY! LET US WAIT ON YOU JUST IN TIME! ARISE O LORD! TODAY’S PRAYER Tuesday, November 28 - 5:07 pm 28-Arise, Oh Lord Scripture: “For the needy will not always be forgotten, Nor the hope of the afflicted perish forever. Arise, O LORD, do not let man prevail; Let the nations be judged before Thee. Put them in fear, O LORD; Let the nations know that they are but men.” -Psalm 9:18-20 Prayer: Righteous God, Your Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom, and some day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that You alone are Lord. You have the name that is above every other name, and the whole earth is full of Your glory. I bring to Your attention the afflicted and needy people of Baghdad: the families and the children who are caught up in the middle of this conflict. Lord, I bring them to Your remembrance, and I say, “Arise, Oh Lord, come to their aid, be their defense, hear their cries, and render Your judgment on their behalf.” Jesus, do not let man prevail against Your purposes and Your destiny for its people. Reveal Yourself as the God,create a testimony for Yourself, and let the nations know that they are but men. In Jesus name, amen.   Thoughts for today(November 28)   “Mutiny!”   On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the followers came to Jesus. The followers said, "We will prepare everything for you to eat the Passover meal. Where do you want us to have the meal?" Jesus answered, "Go into the city. Go to a man I know. Tell him that the teacher says, 'The chosen time is near. I will have the Passover meal with my followers at your house.'" The followers obeyed and did the thing Jesus told them to do. They prepared the Passover meal. In the evening Jesus was at the table with the twelve followers. They were all eating. Then Jesus said, "I tell you the truth. One of you twelve here will soon give me to my enemies." — Matthew 26:17-21 (ERV) Key Thought: It's such an ugly word. It's such an ugly action. MUTINY! Betrayal and rebellion against Jesus by one of his very own. We've heard hints and warnings, but now Jesus makes it clear during the celebration of Israel's great deliverance from Egypt. He will be handed over to the enemy by one of his most trusted and closest friends. The warning stands in such stark contrast to the phrase "the disciples did what Jesus told them to do." Disciples, dedicated followers, do what their master tells them to do. They don't go sell him out for a few coins—or for many coins. They surely don't have the audacity to share in the most intimate and private moments of worship and leave to go betray him. But this is precisely Jesus' point. One of his very own will sell him out. In the very moment of joy, Jesus reminds them (and us as well), we can find it easy to play the game and then leave the room and become someone very different, someone despicable. It's a lot to think about. On this night, the disciples will do just that! Maybe when we take the Lord's Supper, it would be good for us to do the same! Today's Prayer: O Great God and Shepherd of my soul, it is hard for me to be as honest with my heart and know my motives in the way you do. But there is a deep stirring in my heart that reminds me that I could possibly do what Judas is about to do: to honor you in the presence of those who love you, but betray you into the hands of those who hate you and your work. Please forgive me for those times that I have done that, and please help strengthen my resolve and courage so that it will never happen again. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen. Prayer request for Pastor Uppendahl, he has a cut on his cornea, please pray for a full and speedy recovery and the absence of pain. PRESIDENT TRUMP  A special message for the holiday season  A few days ago, Americans counted our blessings as we sat down for Thanksgiving dinners with our families and friends across the country. Today, many will choose to go one step further in celebrating their good fortune by honoring #GivingTuesday, a global day of charitable giving. This year’s #GivingTuesday is especially important. “Earlier this year, Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria devastated communities across the southern United States and in the Caribbean, and vast wildfires ravaged California,” said President Donald J. Trump in a statement. “We saw millions of Americans lose everything, from homes to businesses . . . [to] the unbearable loss of loved ones.” The President thanks all those who have contributed to charitable organizations this year, including our houses of worship. If you would like to take part in #GivingTuesday, please consider supporting one of the great organizations partnering with us to help communities rebuild: https://www.nvoad.org. As the President said, “Together, we can ensure that the blessings of this holiday season are shared around the world.” President Trump meets with members of the Senate Finance Committee  Yesterday, President Trump hosted Vice President Mike Pence and five members of the Senate Finance Committee at the White House for lunch in the Private Dining Room. The topic on everyone’s mind? “A tremendous tax cut – the biggest in the history of our country,” said President Trump. The President reiterated his support for the tax bill proposed by Republican leadership and is pleased with the momentum it has inspired for passing crucial legislation well before the year’s end. As part of the Administration’s continued support, President Trump will join Senate Republicans today for lunch at the U.S. Capitol, where he’ll make the case for swift action. First Lady gives special thanks to Christmas volunteers  Yesterday, First Lady Melania Trump held a special gathering for volunteers who helped turn this year's White House Christmas theme, “Time-Honored Traditions,” into reality. A Gold Star Family Tree honoring service members is proudly on display in the White House East Wing, and historic pieces celebrating holiday traditions – including a nod to the first White House Christmas theme, 1961’s "Nutcracker Suite" – can be found throughout. More than 150 volunteers came together from 29 states to assist with decorating and baking. The numbers tell the story best: • 31,000: Number of cookies baked • 53: Number of White House Christmas trees decorated • 1,000: Feet of garland strung • 12,000: Number of ornaments hung The First Lady thanked the volunteers, who spent more than 1,600 hours bringing the First Family's first Christmas at the White House to life. She and the President look forward to hosting more than 25,000 visitors during the upcoming holiday season. President Donald J.
